Marvad Haksamim (Magic Carpet) in Jerusalem
Marvad Haksamim is a well-known restaurant, famous for its Middle East-Yemenite food since 1960.
The original restaurant was located on King George St. in the heart of Jerusalem, a simple restaurant serving authentic Middle Eastern food, leaning towards Yemenite fare.
In 2006 the restaurant opened in the German Colony in Jerusalem serving the same well-loved food, but with a new twist, paying special attention to excellent service and the magical atmosphere of Jerusalem, to be enjoyed all year round, winter and summer, on the large enclosed terrace.
Not only can you enjoy the food at the restaurant, but we also offer catering services. Every Friday or the eve of every holiday we have a huge, rich buffet with food for Shabbat.
The restaurant is strictly kosher under the supervision of Rabbi Mahfud.
